Club Captain Shaun Nofz, Committee member Jacinta Foley, General Manager Mitch Bligh and Women’s Golf Group Co-ordinator Rosemary Veitch, have been in discussions regarding improvements to Wednesday Competition. The group is looking to encourage more members and visitors to play golf on a Wednesday with the goal to increase club revenues, improve business exposure for sponsors and increase the prizes available for this competition.

The Club has also obtained a naming sponsor for Wednesday competition for the year, Sturt Business Centre. With this additional support, Wednesday competition is well placed for further improvement.

Updates to Wednesday Competition.

• Competition available for both women and men.
• Increased Prize allocations for all players.
• Additional divisions within the competition.
• NTP’s for Women & Men.
• Timesheet times will be available from 10:30 – 11:45. Some AM tee times will be available also. As the competition grows time will be made available of the tenth tee at this 10:30-11:45 time range. This will allow presentations for the majority of players playing in the day.
• Prize allocations on Wednesdays will be:
  • Overall Winner (across women & men)
  • Women’s Winner(s)
  • Men’s Winner(s)
  • NTP’s including Cowboys Vouchers for Women & Men
  • Ball Run Down – combined.
